Conclave down after a couple of nights of attempts, very glad that ones over!!

Congratulations to everyone for participated in this monster heroic marathon!! This left the entire guild hating heroics, but we got there in the end with a well earned server first.
A couple of things to mention.
Special prize to Leftbehind, for hating heroics that much that he vomited on Tiddlywinks chair...... and kept going!
Special AFK mention to Profile, who afked during instances that much he nearly lost his spot in the guild, and had several people wanting to stab him.
No special thanks to Eggnhot, who logged on when we were about halfway through and proceeded to tell us in guild chat that we would never make it. Die Egg. Die.
Biggest thanks to Brawne for his massive effort on putting the whole thing together and keeping us motivated all day (with a side serving of motivational speeches from Maa and Deep). Couldn't have done it without you!!

Well we set asside two nights to learn this fight.... and 1 1/2 hours later it was dead. Nice work Nubs! Hopefully the next one presents a bit more of a challenge.

A long over due update!
After battling the lift boss and an endless war with lag and disconnects we finally had our way with Heroic Maloriak this week.
A while before Maloriak our feud with Chimaeron came to an end. On top of the fairly intensive healing required and the challenge of coordinating cool downs and taunts for the fight we had the task of learning several things.
These included:
That Unholy Frenzy is probably a bad idea
That Shadow Word: Death is definately a bad idea
How to pronounce Ops, Lexia, Seoul and Chimaeron.
We had some spare time and decided to go back and get Al'Akir, not really a post worthy kill but we wanted to brag about the screenshot.
Apparently screenshots increase in difficulty when people AFK, and no matter how much you yell at them it doesn't make them come back any faster. For this screenshot we learnt that it is possible that lifegrip can be used for a good and not evil!

Our first heroic encounter taught as alot, mainly about tank cooldowns and countdowns.
With Fortius mastering the art of 3 2 1..... we mastered this encounter in a night and a half.
Of course Blizzard changing the mechanics halfway through our attempts didnt help the situation. It was a step up for the tanks and nice to see an encounter keeping them on their toes.
Congratulations on the first Alliance heroic kill and well done on the solid progression on Heroic Chimaeron.

With half of our first nights attempt wasted with half the raid offline during phase one, a slight strat change, some fantastic interupts and some excellent lava swimming Nefarion fell very quickly on our second night of attempts.
Congratulations on a well earned kill and to all those who get their Dark Phoenix's in the coming weeks.
